Traditional Web Pages and Blogs: What's the Difference?
Isn't a blog really just a specialized web page? In my opinion, there are some differences between traditional web pages and blogs. To begin with, I view blogs as an online dialogue. Traditional web pages tend to be more static in nature. Further, when visiting a web page, one might expect to purchase something. On the other hand, when I visit a blog I expect to see ongoing posts and comments by various people. Blogs also seem to have the unique feature of being able to archive past posts. In ending, one of my favorite web page's is linked to a blog. In other words, while there remains some gray area about the differences between blogs and traditional web pages, they are obviously not the same.

Another feature unique to blogs are the contributors. A blogger can invite guest writers to post written pieces to their blogs. Whereas web sites have only one master in control of posting content - the web master. Great post - looking forward to future visits.
